Kim Jones

picture of Kim JonesKim Jones is the Director of Engagement for My Refuge House, an aftercare home for girls rescued from sex trafficking in Cebu, Philippines. Kim’s role in the fight to end modern day slavery and to combat the sexual exploitation of women and children began over 7 years ago and has included work with My Refuge House as well as volunteering with Love146 and championing the anti-trafficking efforts of Irving Bible Church.

Before joining My Refuge House, Kim spent a number of years as an educator in the Dallas Independent School District working with at-risk students in the inner-city. During her time in the DISD she was selected as Teacher of the Year at her school.  She also spent several years in Dallas area private schools. Since leaving teaching, Kim has devoted herself full-time to raising her children and using her gifts and passions to develop women through mentoring, speaking at seminars and retreats, and teaching in her church’s women’s ministry.
