New President: Brandy Pounds

Brandy Pounds is a Licensed Professional Counselor Supervisor and obtained her license in 2006. Brandy connects with adolescents and adults that are struggling with big life changes, choices, and those feeling trapped in their current situation. Brandy has experience working with adults and adolescents who struggle with depression, anxiety, trauma, family issues, self-esteem, LGBT related issues, anger management, substance abuse and dependency, adjustment disorders, and cognitive disorders. She was trained in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy.
She earned her bachelor’s degree in psychology in 2002 from the University of Texas in Dallas and her master’s degree in clinical psychology from Sam Houston State University in 2004. She has worked in a variety of settings including inpatient facilities, non-profit agencies, and community mental health agencies. She has served as an expert witness in criminal and family law cases whenever necessary.
In Brandy’s office you will also find Sam, her basset-beagle mix who is always willing to provide you with a belly to scratch.

  2. The Grayson County group affiliated with TCA disbanded a few years ago due to a lack of attendance. Some of us wondering if you accepted members outside of Collin and Denton counties.
