Super excited to have the following speakers at our Summer conference:

Kim Jones, the Director of Refuge House presenting on June 19th! Human Trafficking is an issue that is rising here in the DFW. Kim will share their mission and passion in helping victims of human trafficking.  

Mark Felber, M.S., LPC, LCDC, CSAT 3, CP: "Creating the Relationship of your Dreams"

Mark is a psychotherapist specializing in couples/marital therapy, codependency issues, addictive behaviors, grief recovery and EMDR trauma resolution therapy. Mark also completed more than 1,000 hours of specialized training and research to become a Certified Practitioner of Psychodrama. 

Bret Hendricks, EdD, is an Associate Professor in Counselor Education at Texas Tech University. His experience encompasses community agency counseling, private practice, special education counseling and treatment center administration. His research interests include counseling ethics, adolescent depression, and using creative techniques, especially music techniques, in counseling. Dr. Hendricks has been published in countless counseling journals and textbooks, and as a frequent presenter at state, national, and international conferences, he has delivered more than 100 professional presentations. 

Susan Schultz, LPC, LMFT: "Your Dog as Co-Therapist":  Goal: A new or re-newed respect for animals when teamed with a health care professional. Objective: The student will understand the process involved in working with a dog as a co-therapist in schools and/or private practice. Animal Assisted Counseling and Psychotherapy Association (AACPA) Conclusion - Introduction and interaction with Bevo, Registered Pet Partner
