Changes coming in October—find out more at the I AM HERE Coalition meeting on Tuesday, September 10

This fall is bringing about some exciting changes to the I AM H∙E∙R∙E Coalition.

•Beginning in October, we will meet on the 4th Wednesday of each month (except July and December) from 3 to 4:30 p.m. at the Grant Halliburton Foundation offices. We have a large group conference room in our building available to us as well as several smaller conference and community rooms that can be used for breakouts.

•Beginning in October, we will move from four team meetings to three workgroups focused on specific initiatives. Our first three initiatives will be continuations of initiatives already in progress: the launch of the H∙E∙R∙E For Youth website, expansion of our peer-to-peer support groups and our upcoming faith-based conference. In addition, we will begin looking at new initiatives that can be launched once current initiatives are completed or well-established.
We believe that these changes will enable us to engage more individuals and organizations and help us better fulfill the mission of the coalition: to strengthen the network of mental health resources for teens and young adults in North Texas through the collaboration and cooperation of all stakeholders.

Please join us on Tuesday, September 10 at 4:30 p.m. at the Center for Community Cooperation to learn more about these initiatives and our new structure. If you are currently an active member, we look forward to your continued engagement and support. If you have not been involved with I AM H∙E∙R∙E, we hope these changes will encourage you to become involved.
